Watching the video on his career it was abit confusing to see the line between his life and reality.He seem to be the type of man who got so cough up into his Carree that he didn't even realize when he was working and when his social life was.It got to the point that his whole life became work and he drowned himself right in to the ocean sort to speak.I guess that when William had realized the bluer between his life and his line of work.

What reasons do we have to call Buffalo Bill the “original world celebrity”? Explain. ?

William Cody was the first to do these kind of chose.I think its safe to say that he is one of a kind. So why not give him a name that can make him live through out history.After all he did make history in his own way. William had the ability that made him different and to stand out.Giving the name Buffalo bill makes all sense in every way that you look at it.

How could Buffalo Bill have benefited from new media? Who would have been some of his Face book friends?

Alot of new media has accrued in this society today. So because of the type of work he does all these new technologies sources have become beneficial to him. It benefits him for information on new thing, on new ideas he can come up with ,what it the main way to attract people today.From my understanding i cant be to0 sure on his face book friends so I'm going to have to go with the guess as to people who do the same line of work as him . People that can help him take his Carree to the next level if he has not already done so.

BP Oil

Discuss and review the two BP Oil ads. Why does BP Oil choose the images/style it does to use in their ads? What is the target audience(s)? Which images stick in your mind and why?

After viewing both adds on the Bp oil, I think the one that stuck on to me the most is the one made with the cartoon babies. It was a very catchy add. It was happy and i believe so that the target audience was teens to young adults.Their add is suppose to stand for
"saving the environment" .Their logo is a flower which represents the living things.Both add were convincing but people are more likely to remember the one that had cough their eyes.What was interesting is that they used cartoon babies to show the BP add. What in understate from the message was that their trying to make the new Young generation go green.In our society today its easy to start following trends. In other words if the young people start to go Green soon everyone will.



In light of the current disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, is BP’s slogan (Beyond Petroleum) and Logo (the flower) appropriate?

Speaking from my thought i do not believe that their slogan and logo is inappropriate. I guess everything came with in bad timing. However i do think maybe because of the type of situation that the gulf of Mexico had it was kind of contradicting. Because the situations happen was that pollution was accruing, sickness were happening and things were not in the "happiest moments" Unlike the slogan was catchy and the logo was a happy logo ,but to each his own.



Consider responsibility; considering that it was BP’s oil rig that burned in the Gulf of Mexico and the resulting oil spilled would have been BP’s profit, do BP and other oil companies deserve to be ridiculed, made fun of, and/or satirized?

Well i always believe that u if must be humiliated the best way is threw humor.Alt ought it was the fault of the BP who had spilled the oil , on the other side they did try their best to clean up the mess they made.Even tho i believe that humor is the best way i don't think any one should be remind about mistakes they have maid, but in other it is only normal because people need to be aware of whats happening around their planet.It is a 50/50 opinionbecause people see it as yeah they deserve all humiliation for what they have done .Others understand the meaning of mistake and would have kept it to a certain extend.

Living in the world we live today anything is possible.So much technology is being created that its hard to keep up.Anything can be created .If i really had to think of something that will be created it would be something that fly.Its hard to think right on the spot what can be created for the future but in this generation nothing would be to surprising.

What is the immediate use for the marker's product?

I believe in a way they are trying to show us were this product can be taken in the future.How it can be use to benefit others.Maybe they want to take it to a educational level or maybe to make the people find their interest? many things can be possible. To each is own.other people might think that they want people to get use to how the future will be .We can really find the immediate message of the marker , because we do not know how they want it to effect us.I believe being a Creator for video games such as these ones you have a mind that no one is able to understand.Only through the messages they intended for us.So its hard to say the marker wants this & that for the future. You really have to go beyond the thinking level.


What impact will this products have on us , the user and/ or the world?

Well after viewing the video i feel like they want to introduce us to the future by video games.
As you see in the video its a nice sunny day outside but the family staying in? should that be the way to live? What ever happened to taking walks& playing ball outside, going to your room to chose your outfits? one answer...technology.Thinking about it the impact that it will have is people will lose that touch of being normal.For example back then we didn't have the Internet to access all information , the library was our source of info. Now a days people just open a screen & everything is given to you with a click of a button.Slowly the impact is growing with out us even realizing it .

Where do you place youself/or your pears in the video game culture?
Well i dont play video games.So im not really one to place facts on video games but my opinion is a different story.I do know that most of the male pears i know play war video games.Many statistics say that girls play mnore video games then boys.The age that most people think play video games is teens but in reality its around the age target of 30-35.

What do you think of the video games & video game culture ?
Growing up as a child my parents never believed in vidoe games.Even if they were educational they believed in the old fashion tradition of leanring. So my thought of video games arent the best opinion.However i do believe that sometimes they might be good but then i dont.It is a 50/50 situation.

What do you see in video games & its future/impact on us?
Well our generation today depends alot on technologie.So just based on that fact i think that video games hve already taken things to the next leveal.I could just imaing what would be next. Rumor has i that now the video game will scane you living room and you will be able to do everything in the video game with out a manet.Now thats a scary thought.
The impact is already high so will just ahve to wait and see how much more high it will go .

It the Ted Talks video the part i found the most interesting was how video games have evoled.From dots on the screen to real figure people.With the technology with have today in our society anything is possible. Soon enough will be able to be in the video games ourself.

Have we reached this point in our entertainment "experience"?

The entertainment world isn't the same as it use to be. There's not more family TV shows, TV shows today have no morals. Not only do they have no morals but they have become reality shows. We make these regular people famous for there no sense. All of a sudden its OK to make money out of tragedies& drama, parties,scandals,etc....There is a catch to it... all these reality TV shows are spoiled rich teens. Its the teens who follow the shows its us teens who get more attracted by adds of what hot and whats not. We have become the focus audience.We have become the money makers! but is it really reality ? When we watch these shows like laguna beach , the hills,the simple life etc... We become naive and think that's the normal way to live and the way we live isn't. we crave this life of money , power , scandals,parties fame all because of shows. There is no more the real good TV shows that have morals. For example & heaven, the little white house on the prairies, i love Lucy, Dr.Quinn medicine women !


With films like AVITAR - using completely created characters-3D , animation,CGI, is there a point when we can not believe?



Yes as a matter of fact there is. We see these famous people with flawless skin with perfect hair &we think its not fair how they are so perfect and were not. why can i look like that ? the answer is simple you cant because that's not how they look. We live in a world where technologies has made it to its highest point .With the computer skills people have we can make you believe anything . Make u think that there is a mob of people when there is in reality only one. They can make you believe in anything they want.



Is Truman's whole world fake or is it real ? Is what Christoph says true or he is justifying the world that he created?

Trumans world was real to him at first but it was fake at the same time because it had been planed out by someone eles.Theres two side to look at it if it was a real or fake world but its somthing that there is no wrong answer to. As far as Christoph saying he said it only to justifying his world. Life isnt suppose to be live that. We were put on this planet to make certain mistakes & to learn from them . How can we do such if we are being controled.As far as what he said its to his own belifes because what hes saying has no connection to the way the world is.

Media Persona: From what I've understand a" media persona " is like a secret organization. If you take the word persona its like a "mask" or"character".Which therefor means that the media plays a role in to our society .They have the control over us to make us believe things that are going on in our world today.Weather its about wars, celebrities,animals,fashion etc.You name it they inform us about it .Through magazines , news, TV,radio, or from ourselves.Its what they make us believe.


What is the Power of social media /how does it effect you professional work world/What is the impact of social media?

The power of social media come in may different directions.Social media is like getting information in a way that you could call "social".The way the media works is that it surrounding us. We don't realize it but it is.When I eat, what brand of food do I by . even right now I'm using a form of medium to give you the information i have now.So imagine in your professional working with computer brands., competing with other companies. There no simpler way to put it with saying this that we live it everyday.When we wake up, get ready to go to school or work .Without the media life would be a totally different place.Media has become a type of lifestyle we need its a part of life that we have become to depend on.Therefor the impact is greater then most of us think.Even people who are against it when they try to get there message across they use some time a medium so there' no way to run from it.We just have to learn to live and run with it.Because no matter where we will go its there.

Was there a point when you felt you were overwhelmed and felt like your "image" wasnt enough?
I never felt that i had to impress people by how i act or looked.I wasnt raised to follow whats in style or whats not. My "image" is my own and no one eles .There had been one time that it crossed my mind for a slpit second but my mind has never been confused about my image.

Is the line blured between what is sexy and the image that you have or are buliding of yourself ?
Not for me.But for other young people yes, but on the other had sexy is being sterotype as wome who sell themsevels. Women who are to reaveling .You can take the word "sexy" and make it your own.Not nessasary meaning to show off your body but personality.

who is setting the limits?
There is no one to blam but our owe.We make choices in life, yes our parents are the ones who shoulld show us the right path but then again once we cross that door or turn on the tv we make our own choices and thoughs.


what advice would you give a 4 year old about starting her social life by going to school next year?
Well at that age its hard to make a child understand .You have to find the right words to say asnd even at that at that age you shouldnt be putting it in your childs head to start worring about how they she be around others.Just tell them be them selevs .And if they dont know what thats means just tell them when u feel the most comfortable about who u are.
